The Big Bang Theory
Given the popularity of this series and the global audience it has, it would be difficult to argue with the claim that Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons) is most peoples' favourite atheist. His difference of opinion with his mother, a devout Christian, is well documented during the course of one of TV's best ever comedies.
Well known atheist, Ricky Gervais, created this series for Netflix. The show is about a man, Tony (played by Gervais himself), who is recovering from the loss of his wife. The series is both dark and extremely funny and Gervais uses every opportunity to bring in his atheist view of the world.
Jim Jeffries: Fully Functional
You can expect Jim Jeffries to be his brutally honest and unapologetic self. His takes on life are hilarious and on-the-edge as always.
The Name of the Rose
A 2019 Amazon miniseries based on the novel by Umberto Eco. I love this story and can never get enough of it in whichever form. This miniseries doesn't disappoint. Like the 1986 movie version, it deviates slightly from the book, but still portrays the same dark and intriguing mystery, this time overlaying a story of revenge. Definitely worth a watch!
